Description

  • Partner with recruiting leadership, sourcers, and recruiters to understand end-to-end recruiting processes and translate business questions into well-scoped data products.
  • Own dbt models for sourcing funnels, candidate journeys, requisition lifecycle, sourcer and recruiter activity, outreach, and hiring outcomes.
  • Build and maintain a semantic and metrics layer that defines recruiting metrics once and exposes them consistently across self-service dashboards.
  • Develop and iterate on self-service dashboards in Foundry for funnel health, time-to-fill, productivity, response rates, source-of-hire, pipeline coverage, and stage conversion.
  • Write and maintain custom API connectors for talent acquisition systems without off-the-shelf integrations.
  • Partner with the People Data team on orchestration, scheduling, and warehouse-layer infrastructure.
  • Work with TA Ops to enforce data quality so leadership can trust reporting used in board decks, headcount reviews, and weekly business reviews.
  • Handle people data with rigor, including PII, role-based access, audit trails, and ITAR/CUI considerations where applicable.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a hybrid role, including at least 2 years in recruiting analytics, talent acquisition data, or people analytics.
  • Deep familiarity with recruiting data and processes, including ATS schemas, funnel mechanics, requisition lifecycle, funnel conversion, pass-through rates, sourcer effectiveness, source-of-hire attribution, and rigorous DEI reporting.
  • Strong SQL skills and production experience with dbt, including modular, tested, and well-documented models.
  • Experience building a semantic and metrics layer that is queried by humans and BI tools.
  • Track record of shipping self-service dashboards at scale that end users actually adopt.
  • Working Python skills and production experience writing and operating custom API connectors.
  • Comfort with modern orchestration, ELT tooling, and a cloud warehouse.
  • Sound judgment on when to invest in infrastructure versus answer questions manually.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
  • Preferred: experience scaling recruiting analytics at a high-growth company with 5,000+ employees from spreadsheets to a trusted data product.
  • Preferred: experience building self-serve dashboards in Foundry.
  • Preferred: experience embedded in or directly supporting a TA or recruiting function as the primary data person.
  • Preferred: familiarity with PII handling and access control in a regulated environment.
  • Preferred: comfort using modern AI tools to speed up dashboard development when appropriate.
