Description

  • Architect and evolve scalable, secure cloud infrastructure for Matomo’s SaaS platform.
  • Define infrastructure standards and long-term platform technical direction.
  • Own platform uptime, SLAs, incident-management practices, and post-incident improvements.
  • Develop monitoring, alerting, and observability strategy.
  • Lead Infrastructure as Code maturity and governance.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment reliability.
  • Drive cloud cost optimization and performance improvements.
  • Enable engineering teams with platform tooling and capabilities.
  • Influence cross-functional engineering, product, and security decisions.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Deep AWS and cloud architecture expertise.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code experience.
  • Proven ownership of complex production systems.
  • Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to influence teams and drive technical decisions.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms at scale.
  • Experience supporting high-availability SaaS products.
  • Exposure to compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and shaping engineering practices.
  • Must be based in Germany.
