Description

  • Support and encourage users engaging with mental health and wellbeing programmes for anxiety, depression, and stress.
  • Provide weekly written reviews to guide users as they progress through their programme.
  • Monitor user content for potential concerns and escalate issues through the appropriate channels.
  • Motivate users to stay engaged and make progress toward personalized health and wellbeing goals.
  • Use empathy and observation to create a supportive, personalized coaching experience.
  • Collaborate with the clinical supervisor team to respond to users and promote safety and engagement.
  • Attend monthly meetings with the manager and supervisor, as well as monthly group supervision.
  • Work within the boundaries of the coaching role and recognize when to consult a supervisor.
  • Demonstrate excellence and innovation in digital behavioural health coaching.

Requirements

  • Currently undertaking or completed a Master’s degree and/or Doctorate in Psychology, Social Care, Psychotherapy, or Counselling.
  • Registered or in the process of becoming registered with an applicable recognised professional body in Ireland.
  • Strong understanding of online mental health services.
  • Experience working in Children & Young People services is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and typing skills.
  • Comfort using multiple technological tools and ability to adapt quickly to technological developments.
  • Insightful, empathetic, and compassionate approach to users.
  • Excellent judgement to identify and appropriately respond to risk indications under close training and supervision.
  • Experience with cognitive behavioural models, motivational interviewing, or short-term therapy approaches.
