Description

  • Conduct literature reviews and contribute to evidence syntheses by identifying relevant research, extracting insights, and drafting summary documents.
  • Support quantitative and qualitative data collection, including developing protocols and surveys, recruiting participants, conducting interviews, taking notes, administering surveys, and assisting with analysis and psychometrics.
  • Clean, code, and analyze interview, observation, survey, and administrative data using research methods and software such as STATA, R, NVIVO, or similar tools.
  • Support psychometric coordination and field test planning by reviewing calibration and equating documentation, synthesizing SME input, defining field test goals, and tracking progress.
  • Create and maintain tracking systems to summarize SME recommendations, field test assignments, timelines, status updates, and development progress while supporting quality assurance and version control.
  • Process client feedback on item development reports, route substantive issues to subject matter experts or senior staff, and ensure revisions are documented accurately.
  • Perform item-level and passage-level quality-control reviews to identify editorial, content, formatting, and documentation issues.
  • Organize recurring test development and technical meetings, including agendas, topic approvals, action items, and follow-through on next steps.
  • Draft technical reports, policy briefs, memos, and presentations for policymakers, practitioners, funders, and non-technical audiences.
  • Support project management and business development activities, including timeline tracking, meeting coordination, capture planning, and proposal development.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in I/O Psychology.
  • Background in educational assessment, admissions testing, workforce assessment, program evaluation, or another structured research or measurement environment.
  • Experience reviewing technical or psychometric documentation and synthesizing feedback from multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with operational assessment programs, field test workflows, calibration or equating summaries, item development processes, and quality-control review.
  • Experience preparing materials for client meetings or participating in client-facing discussions involving technical content.
  • Proficiency with statistical or analytical software such as R, Python, SAS, or Stata.
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary and virtual team environments.
  • Strong communication, research, analysis, organizational, and project-management skills, including the ability to translate technical information into clear summaries for non-technical audiences.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship, including H-1B, is not available.
  • Depending on project work, qualified candidates may need to meet certain residency requirements.
