Description

  • Engage with business stakeholders, domain experts, and operational teams to understand needs, pain points, objectives, and constraints.
  • Analyse business problems and opportunities to support value-driven decision-making and prioritisation.
  • Define and document business requirements, outcomes, and success measures with traceability to company objectives.
  • Work with Product Owners to refine epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria for delivery readiness.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Project Managers to align analysis with product strategy, roadmap direction, scope, and sequencing.
  • Translate complex business needs into structured artefacts such as user stories, use cases, process models, functional and non-functional requirements, and data definitions.
  • Model current and future business processes, identify inefficiencies and risks, and support process improvement through digital solutions.
  • Contribute to data and domain modelling and help ensure business logic is consistently expressed across products and services.
  • Support delivery teams during implementation by clarifying requirements, answering questions, and validating understanding.
  • Participate in reviews, demos, and acceptance testing to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs and quality expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in digital, software, or platform-based environments.
  • Proven experience working within Agile or product-centric delivery models.
  • Strong experience in requirements elicitation, user story definition, acceptance criteria, and process modelling.
  • Familiarity with BPMN, use cases, process mapping, and value stream analysis.
  • Ability to reason about business outcomes, constraints, and trade-offs, not just features.
  • Comfort collaborating with engineers and architects, with sufficient technical literacy to challenge assumptions and clarify feasibility.
  • Exposure to SaaS platforms, cloud-native architectures, or low-code environments is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban practices, especially backlog refinement and sprint collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and evolving requirements.
  • Structured, detail-oriented mindset with strong systems thinking.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and helping teams move from problem space to clarity.
