Description

  • Assist sales teams with demos and strategic trials of AlphaSense’s financial data solutions.
  • Run trial training calls and address common objections by communicating the product value proposition.
  • Work with account management to provide advanced training, customizations, and product consultations to customers.
  • Build custom templates and bespoke modeling tools to drive customer adoption.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on quantitative analysis for investment and valuation decisions.
  • Create enablement materials such as how-to videos, product marketing content, and support articles.
  • Collect customer feedback and relay product opportunities to account management, sales, product, and leadership teams.
  • Act as an escalation point for difficult product and support issues, especially involving Excel add-ins.
  • Manage and resolve integration challenges related to customers’ modeling workflows.
  • Adapt across sales, customer success, and product support needs within a lean EMEA team while collaborating with the U.S. Financial Data team.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in finance, such as working toward a CFA or holding a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment management, private equity, accounting, or consulting.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of VBA in the context of Excel workbooks is nice to have.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with senior fund managers and junior analysts.
  • Client-facing experience with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships.
  • Familiarity with the institutional investor landscape, financial markets, and investment research.
  • Passion for technology and the capital markets.
  • Ability to explain complex issues in simple terms.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and independently solving problems before escalating.
