Description

  • Build and maintain core frontend features and UI surfaces for the observability platform, including dashboards, topology views, workflows, and developer tools.
  • Design intuitive workflows and UX for complex distributed-systems concepts and technical users.
  • Develop data-rich dashboards and visualizations with charts, tables, and real-time updates for high-ingest, high-volume data.
  • Own major UI surfaces end-to-end: concept, implementation, refinement, and iteration.
  • Collaborate closely with backend, infrastructure, and product teams to define API contracts and influence product direction.
  • Improve frontend performance through caching strategies, state management, and general performance tuning.
  • Contribute to component architecture and a scalable design system to ensure consistency and reusability.
  • Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and UX consistency across the product while participating in product discussions and roadmap decisions.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Proven experience building complex, data-driven web applications and developer-facing tools.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend tooling (Vite, Webpack, ESLint, Prettier).
  • Solid understanding of state management patterns and libraries (React Query, Zustand, Redux, etc.).
  • Experience with routing, caching strategies, and API integration patterns.
  • Ability to design clean, intuitive UX for technical users and a strong product mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment and ship high-quality features efficiently.
  • Preferred: experience with component libraries such as Material UI or Chakra and contributing to design systems or scalable component architecture.
  • Preferred: experience building UIs for DevOps, AI/ML, infrastructure, observability platforms, or working with real-time/streaming data.
