Description

  • Design and maintain mission-critical brokerage systems and services.
  • Develop middle- and back-office systems, including gRPC microservices, internal React tools, and vendor integrations.
  • Enhance the core framework to support multiple languages, currencies, and markets.
  • Collaborate with core teams and regional tech leads across time zones.
  • Troubleshoot incidents and bugs to protect system integrity and performance.
  • Serve as operational reliability and engineering lead during regional business hours.
  • Act as incident commander and support proactive 24x7 stability.
  • Participate in on-call support for timely engineering projects.
  • Support regional recruitment initiatives and mentor engineers on practices and culture.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Go or similar backend languages.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals and proven software architecture experience.
  • Experience with event-driven design.
  • Ability to lead incidents and troubleshoot bugs as incident commander.
  • Strong communication skills for working with global teams, regulators, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote, globally distributed environment.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate technical concepts into business strategy.
  • Experience with AI tooling such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex (nice to have).
  • Experience in financial services, online trading platforms, brokerage systems, or fintech (nice to have).
  • Experience with domain-driven design and global teams (nice to have).
  • Experience designing complex financial systems, including double-entry accounting (nice to have).
  • Understanding of trade lifecycle management, settlement, market data, and order management (nice to have).
  • Experience building scalable, high-availability, multi-currency financial applications (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in financial markets (nice to have).
