Description

  • Provide technical support and relationship management for existing enterprise customers across APAC.
  • Partner with Sales and Solutions teams on pre-sales discussions, solution design, and API consultations.
  • Guide enterprise customers through API integration, implementation, and onboarding.
  • Translate customer requirements into clear specifications for the global engineering team.
  • Serve as the product and technical subject matter expert for the Alpaca platform.
  • Work with local compliance and operations teams to understand regional product requirements.
  • Own technical sales engagements end to end, including discovery calls, solution validation, RFPs, and security questionnaires.
  • Create sales support materials and documentation for new features and products, including Mandarin-language collateral when needed.
  • Coordinate with local regulators, vendors, and partners in Mandarin and relay requirements internally.
  • Help customers adopt the platform successfully and travel within APAC as needed.
  • Stay current on product development timelines and support feature testing and rollout with the product team.

Requirements

  • Typically 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise or B2B customers in a technical, sales engineering, or solutions engineering role.
  • Experience at API-first or SaaS-first companies.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, SDKs, and software integration workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, WebSockets, Postman, Grafana, and JSON.
  • Native or business-level Mandarin and solid understanding of Mandarin business culture.
  • Business-level English for collaboration with global cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, understandable terms.
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple assignments independently and drive projects to completion with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in fintech, capital markets, brokerage, or financial APIs is preferred.
  • Experience at a broker-dealer or securities firm in APAC is preferred.
  • Knowledge of brokerage, post-trade, settlement operations, and regulatory context is preferred.
  • Experience closing enterprise deals alongside Account Executives is preferred.
  • US securities qualifications such as SIE and/or Series 7 are preferred.
  • Familiarity with Metabase is preferred.
  • Experience with the FIX protocol is preferred.
  • Experience with OpenAPI, ReadMe, and documentation is preferred.
