Description

  • Develop a strong understanding of the territory, retailers, and competitors to drive sales and returns to good causes.
  • Support the Annual Business Plan by delivering key messages and marketing updates to the retail network.
  • Deliver retail key performance indicators through ownership of territory management plans and preparation for store visits.
  • Proactively improve in-store standards and deliver key messages across the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong retailer relationships to drive in-store execution and advocacy for The National Lottery.
  • Ensure retailers comply with player protection requirements through the Retail Training Centre (RTC).
  • Work cross-territory and cross-divisionally where required to support Retail Sales Team objectives.
  • Use retailer insight and feedback to bring new ways of working into Allwyn.
  • Drive personal development through the Personal Development Plan and Learning and Development programme.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience or customer service experience is required; field experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong sales and commercial acumen is required.
  • Confidence and strong communication skills to speak with retailers and build relationships through a consultative approach.
  • Experience in face-to-face consultative selling.
  • Ability to use IT packages and adapt to different systems and tools.
  • Ability to analyse data and provide customer insight.
  • Ability to deliver effective training to people at all levels.
  • A full UK driving licence is required.
  • Flexibility to travel across your territory and wider regions when required.
  • New ideas and a proactive mindset are valued.
  • Experience in a field-based retail environment is desirable.
