Description

  • Develop a strong understanding of the assigned territory, retailers, and competitors to drive sales and returns to good causes.
  • Support the annual business plan by delivering key messages and marketing updates to the retail network.
  • Deliver retail key performance indicators through ownership of territory management plans and preparation for store visits.
  • Proactively drive high in-store standards and deliver key messages across the territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers to improve in-store execution and retailer advocacy of The National Lottery.
  • Agree retailer commitment to required player protection measures through the Retail Training Centre (RTC).
  • Work cross-territory or divisionally where required to support retail sales team objectives and agreed measures.
  • Provide retail insight and support new ways of working within Allwyn.
  • Deliver effective training to retailers and people at all levels.
  • Take ownership of personal development through the company learning and development programme.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience or customer service experience; field experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong sales and commercial acumen.
  • Confidence and strong communication skills when speaking with retailers.
  • Experience in face-to-face consultative selling.
  • Ability to use IT packages flexibly.
  • Ability to analyse data and provide customer insight.
  • Ability to deliver effective training to people at all levels.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Flexibility to travel across the assigned territory and wider regions when required.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to bring new ideas to the table.
