Description

  • Operate and evolve the hybrid infrastructure spanning AWS and on-premises resources.
  • Maintain and scale PostgreSQL databases, Kafka clusters, and data pipeline components.
  • Support HPC environments used for machine learning modeling.
  • Develop and improve infrastructure as code using AWS CDK and automation scripts.
  • Automate infrastructure and operational tasks with Ansible and Bash.
  • Manage access control for cloud and on-prem users and enforce security best practices.
  • Build and promote a self-service DevOps model for development teams.
  • Ensure the platform remains reliable, scalable, and mission-critical as the product evolves.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in hybrid environments combining AWS and local data centers.
  • Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS.
  • Strong proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as CDK, Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience administering PostgreSQL and Kafka in high-load systems.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language; TypeScript is preferred, and Python or others are acceptable if willing to learn TypeScript.
  • Strong Linux administration skills and solid understanding of networking protocols.
  • Proactive mindset with willingness to take full ownership of outcomes and continue learning.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar.
