Description

  • Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of security strategies and solutions.
  • Design and deploy identity security controls that protect networks, systems, and applications.
  • Work cross-functionally to shape security services strategy and execution.
  • Define and uphold security process standards that support high-quality engineering.
  • Mentor and motivate new engineers.
  • Support automation and data-driven security operations at scale.
  • Design secure, scalable identity and access solutions for service accounts, machine identities, and cloud-native workloads.

Requirements

  • BS/BTech or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software or security engineering within cloud-native environments.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud IAM architectures such as AWS IAM, Azure Entra ID, or GCP IAM.
  • Experience designing and enforcing least-privilege roles, RBAC/ABAC, and permission policies.
  • Proficiency with identity standards and federation protocols including SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and LDAP/Directory Services.
  • Experience with user lifecycle automation, SSO, MFA, and Just-In-Time (JIT) access.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform or CloudFormation and scripting in Python or PowerShell.
  • Practical experience managing service accounts, API keys, bots, and automated workload identities.
  • Preferred: experience architecting large-scale distributed systems.
  • Preferred: experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Preferred: experience building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Preferred: familiarity with server-side languages such as Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, or Go.
  • Preferred: 4+ years as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting.
  • Preferred: experience with health-tech systems such as EHRs or clinical data environments.
  • Preferred: experience with AI/ML tools, AI threat modeling, or automated permission guardrails for AI agents.
  • Preferred: familiarity with SPIFFE/SPIRE, zero-trust architectures, or containerized identity frameworks.
  • Preferred: experience with SIEM or security observability tools such as CrowdStrike, Sumo Logic, Wiz, or Zscaler.
  • Preferred: experience with HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
  • Preferred: certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CEH, CAISS, or GIAC GMSE.
