Description

  • Lead the evolution of the company’s Universal Pipeline and CI/CD platform.
  • Develop automation and guardrails to make HIPAA-compliant deployments the default.
  • Build and implement scalable, performant solutions for delivery infrastructure.
  • Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes.
  • Mentor and coach more junior engineers through pull request reviews and technical guidance.
  • Contribute to long-term strategy for internal developer experience, including test tooling infrastructure, self-service tooling, and ephemeral environments.
  • Design and support pipeline integrations for test tooling, compliance evidence capture, and security checks.
  • Optimize build and delivery workflows through caching, change detection, and parallelization.
  • Instrument the delivery platform to track and improve DORA metrics and pipeline reliability.

Requirements

  • BS/BTech or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience building and managing highly automated CI/CD infrastructure and developer tooling on cross-functional teams.
  • 3+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation scripting such as Python, Bash, or Go.
  • 3+ years of experience as a trusted technical decision-maker balancing short-term and long-term business value.
  • 3+ years of experience coaching other engineers on testing strategies and pipeline integration.
  • Proficiency in a high-level language such as Python or Go for building internal tools, CLI utilities, or API integrations (preferred).
  • Experience building internal abstractions or Golden Path templates that simplify cloud interactions for product engineers (preferred).
  • Expert-level experience with Terraform or Pulumi to manage delivery platforms as version-controlled, testable software (preferred).
  • Experience architecting on-demand test environments using Kubernetes, namespaces, or Docker (preferred).
  • Experience integrating contract testing, synthetic testing, and automated regression at scale (preferred).
  • Ability to support mocking or service virtualization for healthcare-specific dependencies such as EHR simulators (preferred).
  • Experience building compliance-as-code pipelines that automatically capture SOC2, SOX, and HIPAA audit evidence (preferred).
  • Experience integrating security gates such as SAST, DAST, secret detection, and automated SBOM generation into delivery workflows (preferred).
  • Deep understanding of identity and secrets management for CI/CD runners in AWS or similar cloud environments (preferred).
  • Experience building modular CI/CD templates across stacks such as ECS, EKS, and Databricks (preferred).
  • Ability to optimize monorepo builds through intelligent caching, change detection, and parallelization (preferred).
  • Ability to instrument delivery platforms to improve Deployment Frequency and Lead Time for Changes (preferred).
