Description

  • Develop and implement scalable, performant solutions for web applications, data pipelines, and platform services.
  • Partner with engineering managers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers, including providing thorough pull request reviews and receiving feedback on your own work.
  • Improve AI/ML infrastructure for model development, training, and deployment, with a focus on large language models and generative AI.
  • Design a multi-year vision for key generative AI areas, including text generation, image synthesis, multimodal models, and personalized content.
  • Architect systems that make complex data sets more accessible and actionable for AI models and applications.
  • Design and implement prompt engineering strategies to guide generative AI model behavior.
  • Work with product management, practices, sales, customer success, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize applied AI use cases.
  • Analyze product usage patterns and trends to inform data-driven decisions and forecasts for generative AI applications.
  • Contribute to APIs and interfaces that integrate generative AI capabilities into existing healthcare systems and applications.
  • Maintain security of protected patient health information and ensure compliance with relevant regulations in AI-related work.

Requirements

  • BS/BTech degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience building full-stack web applications as part of a cross-functional team.
  • 3+ years of experience working with SQL or another database querying language on large multi-table data sets.
  • 3+ years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting.
  • 3+ years of experience coaching other engineers.
  • Deep AWS and infrastructure experience.
  • Networking and distributed systems knowledge.
  • Experience with authentication and authorization systems such as IAM, OAuth, API gateways, and service-to-service auth.
  • Experience working with enterprise security and compliance requirements.
  • Some familiarity with LLM and agent ecosystems such as Bedrock, LangGraph, LiteLLM, MCP, OpenAI APIs, and Claude Code.
