Description

  • Design, build, and operate solutions that improve and mature security capabilities across the organization.
  • Use data to identify trends, metrics, and opportunities to improve the security posture.
  • Research security options and recommend appropriate approaches to stakeholders.
  • Lead incident and issue response efforts, including analysis, containment, mitigation, and remediation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align security solutions with business and organizational requirements.
  • Help craft, refine, and maintain security documentation, including policies, standards, baselines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support the continued maturation of the company’s security program and protection of critical systems and data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or 6 years of security domain experience without a degree.
  • 4+ years of combined experience as a security engineer in an enterprise environment, preferably cloud-based, across multiple disciplines.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in security posture management.
  • 2+ years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting.
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IaM) systems and practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of authentication protocols, authorization mechanisms, and directory services.
  • Strong proficiency implementing IaM solutions in very complex environments.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and security standards.
  • Experience generating automated metrics to measure service and program effectiveness and consistency.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex security issues to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with federated identity tools such as Okta, Entra ID, or Ping Identity.
  • Experience with IGA tools such as SailPoint, Saviynt, or Omada.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Python, Terraform, or PowerShell.
