Description

  • Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team by hiring, coaching, and developing talent.
  • Provide strong technical leadership by driving technical solutioning and roadmap development.
  • Set clear, ambitious goals and remove blockers so the team can deliver effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Aledade to deliver business outcomes.
  • Work with engineering leaders to improve engineering excellence across processes and systems.
  • Own the development of technology that supports the Risk Engine, PDx generation, HCC modeling, and patient risk scoring.
  • Oversee integration of evidence from rules, external vendors, AI/ML, and LLM sources into the platform.
  • Guide monitoring, alerting, reliability, and data quality improvements over time.
  • Support delivery of APIs and UX that surface risk information to Point of Care and Analytics.
  • Drive experimentation and third-party integrations as part of the platform's evolution.

Requirements

  • BS/BTech or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of production-level experience as an engineer and technical lead building highly scalable and reliable software.
  • 5+ years of managerial experience building and leading technical engineering teams.
  • Experience attracting, hiring, coaching, and performance-managing world-class engineers.
  • Experience taking ownership of technology decisions while delegating and empowering team members.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder alignment skills.
  • Experience communicating analysis and building confidence with audiences outside your technical background.
  • Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring others to drive technical excellence.
  • Experience crafting and executing a strategic vision and translating business goals into technical roadmaps.
  • Solid understanding of Agile principles and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban; Certified Scrum Master is a bonus.
  • 5+ years of experience with server-side web technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Go, or JVM; Python preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with frontend web technologies such as Vue, React, Angular, HTML5, or CSS3; Vue preferred.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience designing secure, scalable, and maintainable platform architectures, including distributed systems, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience leading design, development, and deployment of robust front-end platforms for web applications.
  • Ability to prioritize platform features for business needs while maintaining security, scalability, and performance.
  • Experience using data to inform engineering roadmaps and resource allocation.
  • Startup experience is preferred.
  • Passion for healthcare and familiarity with healthcare delivery models, HIPAA, and current healthcare trends is preferred.
