Description

  • Lead the Payment Solutions technical team in designing and implementing scalable payment solutions.
  • Oversee the current payment technology stack and drive optimization of existing systems such as QuickCap and NetSuite.
  • Evaluate and implement a second payment solution to support non-claims-based payment types.
  • Ensure payment systems architecture can scale to support more than $2B in annual payment volume.
  • Drive automation to eliminate manual processes between market leaders, business owners, Payments, and Finance teams.
  • Manage, develop, and expand the initial team, including defining roles, responsibilities, and career paths.
  • Build the hiring plan, organizational structure, processes, and methodologies needed to scale the Payments team.
  • Design standardized workflows and technical specifications for all current payment types and payment processing improvements.
  • Create approaches for bank reconciliation, technical guardrails, and approval workflows for new payment types.
  • Partner across Security, Compliance/Risk/Governance, Growth, Provider Networks, Finance, Engineering, and Analytics to ensure compliant end-to-end processes.
  • Oversee integrations between payment solutions and enterprise applications, reporting platforms, and financial systems.
  • Manage vendor relationships, system performance monitoring, scalability assessments, and technical roadmap execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience managing payments technology, financial systems, or enterprise applications.
  • 3-5 years of experience implementing payment systems, processes, and related technology while supporting adoption with business partners and stakeholders.
  • 5+ years of management experience leading technical teams with demonstrated ability to scale organizations.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with payment processing systems and financial technology platforms.
  • Proven track record scaling payment operations in high-growth environments.
  • Strong understanding of payment reconciliation, financial controls, and audit requirements.
  • Experience with enterprise system integrations and data management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-visibility technical initiatives.
  • Experience building and scaling technical teams from startup through enterprise levels.
  • Experience with QuickCap, NetSuite, or similar enterprise payment/ERP solutions preferred.
  • Deep healthcare industry expertise, particularly in value-based care models and payor contract structures, preferred.
  • Background in financial services or fintech environments preferred.
  • Experience with API integrations and payment gateway technologies preferred.
  • Knowledge of banking systems, ACH processing, and financial reconciliation platforms preferred.
  • Project management certification (PMP) or similar credentials preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting to executive-level stakeholders preferred.
