Description

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to educate patients about Advance Care Planning and schedule facilitator appointments.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries, resolve concerns, and manage referrals, worklists, and follow-ups.
  • Manage patient communications through email, SMS, and other multichannel systems.
  • Use approved scripts, workflows, SOPs, and job aids while meeting performance metrics.
  • Address patient concerns and objections with empathy, active listening, and professionalism.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance, privacy standards, accurate documentation, and service quality.
  • Participate in team meetings, one-on-ones, coaching, communications, and required training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • At least 1 year of telephonic outreach, customer service, or telesales experience in a call-center environment.
  • Ability to navigate and adapt to telephony platforms, web applications, and CRM software.
  • Strong active listening, verbal communication, empathy, and objection-handling skills.
  • Strong written documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Availability during core operating hours of 8 AM–8 PM EST or the applicable local time zone.
  • Reliable high-speed internet with at least 20 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload, and no more than 50 ms jitter.
  • Ability to work prolonged periods seated at a desk and using a computer.
  • Healthcare, patient education, remote call-center, advance care planning, or end-of-life care experience preferred; English-Spanish bilingual proficiency is also preferred.
