Description

  • Negotiate network participation agreements directly with health plans, including new agreements, renewals, and amendments.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including deliverables and document repositories.
  • Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with contract terms.
  • Perform comprehensive rate analyses and track key contract metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and stakeholders to execute agreements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with regional and national payer stakeholders.
  • Interface with senior leadership and payers to support contracting strategy and execution.
  • Support remote work collaboration across the U.S. or from the Bethesda, MD office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in network contracting or development with health plans or providers.
  • Strong understanding of the health plan network participation agreement lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience navigating complex payer dynamics.
  • Strong analytics and risk assessment skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish, sustain, and improve payer relationships.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for ensuring providers are fairly reimbursed for the care they deliver.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely within the U.S. or from the Bethesda, MD office is preferred.
