Description

  • Own compliance programs, security audits, and risk management across the organization.
  • Maintain HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance programs, including evidence collection, control documentation, and remediation tracking.
  • Manage vendor security assessments and review third-party security documentation and data processing agreements.
  • Prepare audit evidence and support external audits.
  • Review cloud configurations and validate technical controls in a multi-cloud environment using GCP and Azure.
  • Test controls and assess security and compliance risks hands-on.
  • Develop automation that improves compliance tracking, evidence collection, and audit preparation.
  • Create and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Work across IT operations and regulatory compliance to help the company meet its obligations as it scales.
  • Use AI tools in daily workflows for research, drafting, design iteration, quality checks, and delivery acceleration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–6 years of experience in IT audit and control testing, compliance program management, GRC, or vendor risk management.
  • Direct experience with HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance programs.
  • Experience with evidence collection, control documentation, and remediation tracking.
  • Understanding of cloud security controls and the ability to review configurations in GCP and Azure.
  • Experience preparing for and supporting external audits.
  • Ability to develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Comfort working autonomously in a fast-paced, fully remote, distributed environment.
  • Proficiency with AI tools in daily work.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, HITRUST CCSFP, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Experience with GRC platforms such as Vanta, Drata, or Tugboat Logic is preferred.
  • Background in healthcare or financial services compliance is preferred.
  • Familiarity with GDPR, DPDPA, or other regional data protection frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience with vendor risk management platforms or assessment frameworks such as SIG or CAIQ is preferred.
  • Experience conducting or coordinating internal security audits and control testing is preferred.
  • Ability to review IAM configurations such as SSO, MFA, and RBAC against compliance requirements is preferred.
  • Experience building automation for compliance tracking, evidence collection, or audit preparation is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary of approximately $30,000–$35,000 USD per year, calibrated for target regions.
  • Performance bonus opportunity of up to 100% of base salary.
  • Total compensation depends on experience, location, and performance during the hiring process.
