Description

  • Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, engineers, and designers to define requirements and outcomes.
  • Develop, test, and refine machine learning models for pricing recommendations, with emphasis on reinforcement learning.
  • Analyze model performance and iterate on improvements to increase accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Present findings, progress updates, and results to team members and stakeholders.
  • Work with product engineers and designers to integrate models into host-facing tools.
  • Participate in project planning and prioritization aligned with broader company goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing machine learning models, preferably reinforcement learning models.
  • Strong knowledge of Python or other relevant programming languages.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry or with pricing models is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the specified location.
  • Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity for US remote eligibility.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Experience with Airbnb's platform and tools is beneficial.

Benefits

  • Base pay range of $196,000 to $227,000 USD.
  • Eligible for bonus compensation.
  • Eligible for equity.

  • US-remote eligible role.
