Description

  • Lead creative across multiple social and content workstreams to ensure output is distinctive, culturally relevant, and aligned with Airbnb’s brand vision.
  • Develop and guide content formats, series, and repeatable franchises rather than relying on one-off campaigns.
  • Concept and shape storytelling while setting a clear creative vision for teams and partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external creators, and production partners to bring ideas to life at scale.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Brand, Marketing, Comms, Insights, and Product teams.
  • Partner with Creative Operations and Production to scale output efficiently without compromising quality.
  • Mentor and grow a team of multidisciplinary creatives while fostering curiosity, craft, and experimentation.
  • Translate strategy, insights, and data into creative work that drives conversation, sharing, and earned attention.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of creative leadership experience across social, content, and brand storytelling.
  • Proven success developing YouTube-first or video-led content, including series, channels, or recurring formats that build and retain audiences.
  • Experience working where editorial, entertainment, and brand intersect.
  • Strong understanding of platform mechanics, especially on YouTube and TikTok.
  • Experience collaborating with creators, influencers, and talent in co-creating content.
  • Experience leading both internal teams and external partners, including agencies and production companies.
  • Strong storytelling instincts with a high bar for craft across video, design, and narrative.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A deep curiosity about culture, media, and how audiences engage with content today.
  • US remote eligibility with residence in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity, and occasional work at an Airbnb office or offsite may be required.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $208,000 to $260,000 USD.
  • May be eligible for bonus.
  • May be eligible for equity.
