Description

  • Design and develop enterprise-quality Android software components based on product specifications.
  • Build new features and enhancements for the main product and partner/network division.
  • Troubleshoot technical and application issues across the Android app.
  • Collaborate daily with developers throughout the full software development lifecycle.
  • Prepare technical documentation to strengthen the Android knowledge base.
  • Write quality code, follow engineering guidelines, and implement tests.
  • Stay current with best practices and contribute new ideas to the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of development experience in an agile team using Java/Kotlin.
  • Experience publishing and continuously supporting one or more Android apps.
  • Proficiency with Git, Gitflow, branching, and merging strategies.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in Android SDK.
  • Experience with MVVM or similar modern Android architectures.
  • Experience in payment systems and marketplaces.
  • Experience with pixel-perfect implementation and Android design guidelines.
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, processes, and memory management.
  • Knowledge of unit testing, feature testing, and mocking.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Team-oriented mindset, openness to new ideas, and strong attention to detail.
  • Preferred: knowledge of UI/UX best practices, A/B testing, SCRUM or other agile methods, telecommunications, eSIM, and GSMA-related technologies and services.
