Description

  • Lead design, deployment, and automation efforts for public cloud networking solutions.
  • Design, deploy, and integrate native and third-party networking and network security resources across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Optimize on-premises networks for cloud adoption with a focus on resiliency and manageability.
  • Serve as a technical point of escalation and drive incidents and problems through resolution.
  • Communicate project status clearly and regularly to client stakeholders and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in client workshops and engagements.
  • Develop client assessment and design deliverables, including written documents and detailed low-level diagrams.
  • Mentor and support less experienced team members through training and on-the-job guidance.
  • Represent AHEAD professionally in interactions with clients, partners, and peers.
  • Track travel, expenses, and weekly time in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of consulting experience or equivalent experience.
  • Experience as a technical lead on small to medium-sized technical networking projects.
  • Experience using Terraform to provision and manage public cloud resources.
  • Advanced knowledge of network security, data center networking, and software-defined networking.
  • Strong consulting, interpersonal, and professional communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and maintain a strong working attitude.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and partners, including mentoring and training others.
  • Relevant expert-level industry certification such as CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure or AWS Network Specialty (preferred).
