Description

  • Serve as a senior cybersecurity subject matter expert supporting DoD systems and capabilities.
  • Implement and execute Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and controls.
  • Support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities and maintain system authorization packages.
  • Monitor cybersecurity posture, vulnerabilities, findings, remediation, and continuous monitoring activities.
  • Develop, review, and maintain RMF artifacts, eMASS packages, cybersecurity documentation, and supporting evidence.
  • Analyze cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities and develop mitigation recommendations and courses of action.
  • Support vulnerability, incident, change, audit, compliance, and access-control management activities.
  • Review STIG/SRR findings and support remediation and compliance efforts using tools including ESS, ACAS, COAMS, CMRS, STIG Viewer, and eMASS.
  • Coordinate with Government stakeholders, system owners, engineers, architects, and program teams to resolve complex cybersecurity issues.
  • Provide senior-level technical guidance, analysis, alternatives, and recommendations to leadership and technical teams.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree and at least 15 years of relevant experience; equivalent additional experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Current certification in one of the following: Security X/CASP+, CCISO, CCSP, CCGRC/CAP, or Cloud+.
  • Current DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Residence within commuting distance of customer facilities in the Washington, DC metropolitan area for occasional onsite work.
  • Extensive cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Systems Security, or security engineering experience in DoD environments.
  • Extensive experience implementing DoD RMF processes and controls and maintaining eMASS/RMF authorization packages.
  • Hands-on experience with ESS, ACAS, COAMS, CMRS, STIG Viewer, and STIG/SRRs.
  • Experience with A&A, continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, incident management, cybersecurity compliance, and remediation activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex cybersecurity issues to technical teams and senior leadership.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Windows, Microsoft Server, VMware, or comparable enterprise infrastructure technologies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in remote environments with Government and contractor teams.
  • Preferred experience with DISA, Mission Partner Environments, Trusted Agent responsibilities, PKI, certificates, and cross-functional cybersecurity, network, cloud, identity, architecture, or systems engineering.
  • CISSP or comparable senior-level cybersecurity certification is preferred.
