Description

  • Architect and scale enterprise-grade AKS clusters for high concurrency, low-latency AI inference, and global availability.
  • Use Crossplane to provision Azure services through a Kubernetes-native control plane.
  • Champion GitOps deployment practices with Argo CD across multiple environments and regions.
  • Engineer infrastructure for data-intensive AI/ML pipelines by integrating compute, storage, and messaging with Kubernetes.
  • Optimize scalability and concurrency with autoscaling, pod disruption budgets, and advanced workload scheduling.
  • Develop and maintain automation, tooling, and integrations using Python, Ruby, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
  • Design and enforce secure, compliant, multi-tenant architectures using Azure AD SSO, managed identities, RBAC, and Key Vault.
  • Build resilient networking topologies using VNets, VNet peering, Private Link, service mesh technologies, and ingress tooling.
  • Integrate observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML engineering teams, mentor staff, and document Kubernetes-native and Azure-native best practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with expert-level Kubernetes and Azure skills.
  • Proven experience designing and operating multi-tenant SaaS platforms where performance, scalability, and security are critical.
  • Hands-on experience with Crossplane for Kubernetes-controlled Azure service provisioning.
  • Deep familiarity with Azure services including AKS, Azure Flexible MySQL, Blob Storage, Event Hubs, and Key Vault.
  • Strong coding and automation background with GitHub Actions, Python, Terraform, and other scripting or high-level languages.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Crossplane, and Helm.
  • Experience with GitOps practices and Argo CD.
  • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes networking, autoscaling, and workload orchestration for AI/ML inference workloads.
  • Proficiency with observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Preferred: background with large-scale real-time data streaming platforms, AI/ML infrastructure platforms, decision intelligence systems, or open-source cloud-native contributions.
