Description

  • Diagnose and resolve software, system, and infrastructure issues across products and internal tooling.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for escalated or ambiguous reliability, performance, or accessibility issues.
  • Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of software, hardware, and internal systems.
  • Contribute to quality and reliability through structured QA processes.
  • Write and maintain automated test suites, including integration, regression, and smoke tests.
  • Participate in release testing and validation efforts.
  • Write scripts and tools for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Support infrastructure provisioning and configuration using automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Improve system observability through logging, alerting, and dashboards.
  • Identify repetitive tasks and build automated solutions to reduce manual effort.

Requirements

  • Experience in a technical role such as support, QA, IT operations, or help desk, or relevant academic, bootcamp, or project experience.
  • Basic proficiency with Linux/Unix or macOS command-line environments.
  • Familiarity with at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, JavaScript, or Go.
  • Understanding of APIs, client/server concepts, and modern web applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret logs, error messages, and system metrics at a foundational level.
  • Basic experience with databases, including queries, connections, or schema concepts.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to break down ambiguous technical problems into actionable steps.
  • Curiosity and learning agility, with a strong desire to learn new systems, tools, and technologies quickly.
  • Automation orientation and interest in reducing manual work through scripting, tooling, and process improvement.
  • Collaboration and communication skills to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Support teams.
  • Ownership and initiative, including willingness to take responsibility, ask questions, and escalate issues appropriately.
