Description

  • Serve as an expert technical resource for architectural design and software implementation across the DCI software product line.
  • Act as a hands-on leader for a small team of engineers and guide them on key technical initiatives.
  • Work with software development, QA, and DevOps teams to produce high-quality technology solutions.
  • Lead the design and development of solutions for DCI Software’s most significant technical opportunities.
  • Mentor less senior engineers and support team growth as needed.
  • Build modern, architecturally sound components, tools, and applications that support business goals.
  • Embed scalability, manageability, maintainability, and security into distributed systems and software solutions.
  • Evaluate, correct, and help prevent vulnerabilities during the software development process.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for production issues and help make technology decisions across the product line.
  • Research and prototype alternative software solutions and assist with process improvement efforts aligned with ITIL best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years developing large-scale, highly reliable, highly available Internet-facing applications using Microsoft technologies.
  • 2+ years of experience leading people as a team lead or technical lead.
  • 7+ years of experience with software development technologies such as .NET, C#, ASP.NET, or .NET Core.
  • 7+ years of experience with MS-SQL or a similar SQL database, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and database schema design.
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure, using PaaS and SaaS offerings.
  • Experience developing technical documentation is preferred.
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior and senior technical team members is preferred.
  • Experience using JIRA, Git/Bitbucket, Lucidchart, and C# is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for group and individual settings, including verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate professionally and respectfully with internal and external stakeholders.
