Description

  • Architect, engineer, and maintain secure cloud-based systems and applications.
  • Lead cybersecurity authorization and assessment activities for classified information systems.
  • Own end-to-end security architecture and technical compliance across new and existing cloud environments.
  • Review and validate RMF authorization packages and Body of Evidence, including SSPs and SCTMs.
  • Conduct security design reviews, threat assessments, and risk assessments for complex classified environments.
  • Build resilient cloud infrastructure with IAM, encryption, and network security controls.
  • Develop security controls and integrations for Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Prepare technical artifacts such as POA&Ms, SCTMs, and Risk Assessment Reports.
  • Create incident handling procedures, incident response plans, and system security documentation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in a matrixed environment to address emerging technologies and threats.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of relevant IT/military experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 5 years of experience implementing NIST 800-53 and/or JSIG security controls and supporting the full RMF lifecycle.
  • 5 years of experience as an ISSO, ISSM, ISSE, or Cloud Engineer.
  • 2 years of hands-on experience securing Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • DoD 8140 compliance such as Security+, CISSP, CASP, or similar certification.
  • Active Top Secret clearance, preferred with SCI eligibility, and willingness to undergo a polygraph if necessary.
  • Experience with Sentris (preferred).
  • Experience with virtualization or cloud technologies (preferred).
  • Experience in a modern DevSecOps project environment (preferred).
  • Advanced certifications such as CISSP, Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect/Admin, AWS Certified Security, or related SIEM/cloud credentials (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with ACAS/Nessus scanning and SIEM/Splunk dashboard creation for continuous monitoring (preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to semi-technical customers and government stakeholders (preferred).
  • Ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a matrixed team environment while adapting to new technologies and threats (preferred).
  • U.S. work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.
