Description

  • Process SF-86 forms, fingerprinting, initial briefings, and visit requests.
  • Maintain and update personnel security data in systems such as SIMS, NBIS, DISS, and SWFT.
  • Review personnel security questionnaires for accuracy and completeness against DISS profiles.
  • Support clearance and access operations across defense or intelligence programs and multiple contracts/task orders.
  • Work with government sponsors, PSOs, and industry FSOs on personnel security matters.
  • Handle initial investigations, CE/CV actions, reciprocity/crossovers, visit requests, and debriefings.
  • Maintain accurate personnel, contract, and access records, including rosters, billets, and access controls.
  • Reconcile data discrepancies, identify risk indicators, and propose mitigations.
  • Conduct prescreening interviews and draft clear correspondence.
  • Process, validate, and submit or receive VARs in line with sponsor requirements and program timelines.

Requirements

  • US citizenship is required.
  • Active Secret eligibility is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in Personnel Security is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Personnel Security is required if substituting for a degree.
  • Experience working clearance/access operations for multi-program Defense or Intelligence portfolios.
  • Experience working with government sponsors, PSOs, and industry FSOs across multiple contracts and task orders.
  • Proficiency with DISS, NBIS, and SWFT.
  • Hands-on experience with initial investigations (Tier 3/Tier 5), CE/CV, reciprocity/crossovers, visit requests, and debriefings.
  • Working knowledge of NISP (32 CFR Part 117), DoD adjudicative guidelines, and SEAD policies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, and Microsoft Suite proficiency.
  • Work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship in the United States.
