Description

  • Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor in all core content areas.
  • Deliver live virtual lessons through web conferencing based on student needs and research-based practices.
  • Set up courses in the Learning Management System.
  • Monitor student progress in asynchronous courses and provide daily feedback and grading.
  • Track and maintain regular contact with each student.
  • Collaborate with the principal to create and deliver student progress reports.
  • Review student-level data frequently to adjust instruction and support achievement goals.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students in synchronous and asynchronous settings.
  • Communicate regularly with families about academic and social-emotional growth.
  • Participate in planning and attending non-instructional activities such as social events, field trips, and state testing.
  • Travel for required face-to-face testing and attend in-person events several times per year.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current state teaching license in the appropriate content area.
  • Knowledge of state standards and Common Core standards.
  • Preferred 2 years of teaching experience.
  • High comfort level working in a growth-focused coaching environment with frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to properly manage confidential information.
  • Ability to stand for up to 90 minutes at a time.
  • Ability to supervise students in all school settings.
  • Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
  • Experience working in a multicultural setting preferred.
  • Must be a resident of Wyoming or Arizona.
  • Availability to travel and attend face-to-face events several times per year.
