Description

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight to Family Support Educator Leads and their teams.
  • Directly manage FSE Leads and indirectly manage Family Support Educators.
  • Lead execution of patient education and One Acadia initiatives.
  • Monitor compliance adherence and help resolve escalations, complaints, and communication issues.
  • Serve as the primary representative for the FSE team with cross-functional partners across patient support, access, marketing, sales, and distribution.
  • Support training and onboarding of new FSE Lead and FSE team members.
  • Develop metrics, MBO plans, reporting, analytics, and performance insights for internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare for and participate in executive, national, and regional commercial meetings, including slide development and storyboarding.
  • Conduct performance reviews and evaluations for FSE Leads and FSEs as needed.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and help maintain the culture, engagement, and development of the FSE team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus.
  • 15 years of relevant experience in Patient Support Services, Access, National Accounts, Specialty Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in Patient Support Services, Market Access, Patient Education, National Accounts, Sales Management, Clinical Education, or Access Leadership.
  • In-depth experience in account management and patient/caregiver education.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare field environment and the rare disease space.
  • Proficiency in creating and communicating a clear vision to team members.
  • Track record of increased responsibilities and successful cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations related to patient privacy.
  • Ability to manage expenses within allocated budgets and travel up to 50%; role requires living within a reasonable distance to a major airport and ability to travel independently by car or plane up to 80% of the time.
