Description

  • Architect, design, build, deploy, and maintain model serving infrastructure for the Detection Engine.
  • Own projects that scale model serving and data processing services to handle 10x current traffic.
  • Own real-time and near real-time streaming pipelines and online feature serving services.
  • Collaborate closely with machine learning engineering and data science teams to translate feedback into execution.
  • Support fast, responsive, stable, and confident feature development for the ML and Data Science teams.
  • Develop scalable backend systems using industry-standard AI tools.
  • Maintain and improve systems that support detection model deployment and data processing.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role with hands-on experience building data-focused solutions.
  • Proficiency using AI tools to accelerate engineering outcomes across discovery, design, implementation, and rollout.
  • Experience maintaining large-scale distributed systems on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with real-time and near real-time data pipelines or streaming services.
  • Experience working with distributed teams and strong asynchronous, written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to break down complex challenges into manageable steps and iterate with both short-term and long-term scalability in mind.
  • Growth-oriented mindset with interest in increasing impact and responsibility over time.
  • Strong fundamentals in computer science, data structures, and performance optimization.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or a related engineering field.
  • Familiarity with the company stack, including AWS, K8, Python/Django, Golang, and Postgres (nice to have).
  • Experience or passion for building scalable, enterprise-grade applications (preferred).
  • Experience with web security, such as OWASP Top 10 (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with AI development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude (nice to have).

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $149,200 to $214,500 USD.
  • Eligible for bonus or incentive compensation.
  • Eligible for equity.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
