Description

  • Design, train, test, deploy, evaluate, and maintain enterprise AI and machine learning models.
  • Develop production-ready AI/ML and Generative AI solutions that are reliable, scalable, secure, and maintainable.
  • Prepare structured and unstructured data through collection, cleaning, transformation, and analysis.
  • Evaluate AI technologies, models, tools, frameworks, and architectures for federal and cybersecurity use cases.
  • Develop LLM controls including prompts, classifiers, fine-tuning, content moderation, safety filters, and grounding mechanisms.
  • Perform model evaluation, validation, benchmarking, monitoring, and AI red-team testing.
  • Investigate model performance, security, compliance, bias, and behavioral issues and implement mitigations.
  • Maintain Model Cards, System Cards, Data Cards, evaluation results, configurations, governance materials, and other technical documentation.
  • Apply Zero Trust, least privilege, defense-in-depth, secure-by-design, privacy, and risk-management principles.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, architecture, data science, software, DevSecOps, and government stakeholders throughout the AI lifecycle.
  • Translate mission and technical requirements into AI architectures, models, engineering solutions, and implementation plans.
  • Support design reviews, pilots, proofs of concept, modernization initiatives, briefings, and technical recommendations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in IT security, data science, or software engineering, including at least 5 years designing, developing, or deploying AI/ML systems in enterprise or government environments.
  • A related PhD may substitute for up to 5 years of required experience.
  • Expertise in data science, machine learning, or artificial intelligence projects.
  • Expertise building, training, and deploying production machine learning models and AI systems.
  • Expertise in data collection, cleaning, and analysis for AI modeling.
  • Experience applying AI solutions to large enterprise or government environments comparable to GSA, IRS, DoD, or VA.
  • Experience collaborating with data scientists, software developers, and domain experts.
  • Master’s degree in AI, business, cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, information assurance, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications preferred, including SecurityX/CASP+, CCISO, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCED, GCIH, GSLC, or CCNP Security.
  • Applicants may need to pass a security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for classified information access.
  • Availability for up to two onsite travel visits per year may be required.
