Description

  • Own infrastructure projects, initiatives, and operational outcomes end to end.
  • Operate and scale production databases, queues, and stateful workloads.
  • Plan and execute failovers and migrations without downtime.
  • Debug distributed systems from initial symptoms through verified root cause.
  • Design and build scalable infrastructure solutions and processes.
  • Implement infrastructure automation using Python, Go, or Bash.
  • Apply least-privilege access, secrets hygiene, and blast-radius reduction practices.
  • Document incidents, findings, and solutions so others can act on them.

Requirements

  • Senior-level expertise and real-world experience across infrastructure and operations.
  • Experience operating production systems with databases, queues, and stateful workloads.
  • Experience with scaling, failover, and zero-downtime migrations.
  • Ability to investigate distributed systems you did not build and verify root causes.
  • Security awareness covering least privilege, blast radius, and secrets management.
  • Ability to code infrastructure using Python, Go, or Bash.
  • Fluent written English.
  • Ability to use AI assistants effectively and identify incorrect outputs.
  • Experience with GCP/GKE, Terraform, Atlantis, ArgoCD, Helm, Vault, Grafana LGTM, OpenTelemetry, GitHub Actions, Claude Code, or Python/Go is relevant to the current stack.
  • Background check consent required as part of the recruitment process.
