Description

  • Define and execute the DevOps strategy aligned with 1inch’s business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing DevOps and infrastructure engineering team.
  • Oversee multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters and manage infrastructure changes through Infrastructure as Code and GitOps.
  • Standardize deployment processes and build self-service tools for secrets management and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Define and implement SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for critical services.
  • Oversee monitoring, logging, and tracing, and establish incident response and post-mortem processes.
  • Enforce security-by-design practices and maintain compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 requirements.
  • Lead infrastructure consolidation efforts and monitor cloud spend to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve platform engineering and developer enablement.
  • Drive automation, accountability, and scalable engineering workflows across the organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure, including 3+ years in a management role.
  • Proven experience scaling DevOps teams in fast-paced, high-growth technology environments.
  • Deep expertise in Kubernetes cluster management, networking, and security.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and GitOps practices.
  • Experience managing multi-cloud environments such as AWS, Hetzner, and GCP.
  • Strong understanding of service mesh and microservices architecture.
  • Solid experience with observability tools for metrics, logging, and tracing.
  • Practical experience implementing security best practices within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Balanced strategic mindset with the ability to solve problems hands-on.
  • Experience in blockchain or DeFi infrastructure (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of Kafka, NATS, chaos engineering, or edge computing (preferred).
