Description

  • Define and communicate the high-level product vision, narratives, major features, and roadmaps for Zyte’s engineer-focused SaaS products.
  • Lead and mentor a team of product owners, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely delivery across squads.
  • Collaborate with engineering leaders to align product and platform priorities and ensure underlying technologies meet product needs.
  • Set and drive team goals on key metrics (activations, adoption, growth, retention) and run programs to improve acquisition, activation, and retention.
  • Champion UX, onboarding journeys, and speed-to-value improvements through cross-functional work with UX and technology teams.
  • Use experimentation, data analysis, and user feedback to prioritize work, iterate on features, and drive continuous product improvement.
  • Coordinate with Product Marketing, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, Commercial and Finance to launch, measure, and iterate go-to-market and pricing initiatives.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to shape product positioning and evolve pricing strategy.
  • Report product outcomes and performance metrics to senior leadership, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Be the primary advocate for customers (engineers, data professionals, technical decision makers), prioritizing market and customer insight-driven actions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in product management, including 2+ years in a senior or group-level leadership role.
  • Proven track record managing and scaling successful SaaS or API-first products.
  • Deep understanding of B2B SaaS growth levers—acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.
  • Experience leading pricing strategy and aligning product with go-to-market and commercial teams.
  • Hands-on experience with code, a background in software engineering, or significant experience building products for engineers.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize insights and present performance metrics, strategy updates, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills to champion product plans across the business.
  • Passion for developer tools, data accessibility, and the potential of AI in software engineering.
