Description

  • Manage school furniture projects from the quoting stage through installation completion.
  • Participate in team calls and bid discussions to confirm pricing and project scope.
  • Request vendor quotes and installation quotes and prepare detailed pricing information, including freight and related costs.
  • Process orders with clear instructions for vendors and manufacturers and handle order entry.
  • Maintain project documentation, tracking, and files in Trello and the company site.
  • Verify order acknowledgments for accuracy and compliance with bid specifications.
  • Communicate with vendors, project managers, installers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate deliveries and installation schedules and help manage back orders, replacements, and damage claims.
  • Track punch lists, replacements, credits, and updates through final completion.
  • Prepare and process billing for completed projects and manage post-installation warranty issues.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, Interior Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of project coordination or operations experience, preferably in school furniture, commercial interiors, or contract furniture.
  • Strong proficiency with Trello, Microsoft Office Suite, and client/vendor portals.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of freight and installation logistics.
  • Experience working with school district timelines and project schedules.
  • Highly organized, dependable, proactive, and comfortable working collaboratively across Sales, Design, Operations, and Installation teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
