Description

  • Translate product strategy into a sequenced backlog with user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear delivery priorities.
  • Keep work thin-sliced and manage backlog refinement, sprint readiness, and scope negotiation to support frequent releases.
  • Use DevOps and cloud workflow knowledge to identify friction points, gaps, and opportunities for product differentiation.
  • Speak with customers and internal stakeholders regularly to validate ideas, test assumptions, and pressure-test tradeoffs.
  • Communicate concepts, decisions, and rationale clearly to build trust across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Work closely with Engineering leads on sequencing, technical tradeoffs, and delivery planning.
  • Ensure the product is cohesive across UX, APIs, data, and operational behavior while maintaining reliability and customer trust.
  • Define success metrics for the component and make releases measurable so insights feed back into prioritization.
  • Own release readiness activities, including documentation, enablement inputs, and launch communication.
  • Partner with security, support, and customer teams to address cloud safety, governance, and trust requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience in a Product Manager or Technical Product Owner role.
  • 2–5 years of experience working closely with public cloud infrastructure in production environments.
  • 3+ years of product management experience in products relevant to Kubernetes or its ecosystem.
  • Strong product sense for turning complex problems into clear scope and shipped value.
  • Deep technical fluency in cloud fundamentals, including identity/IAM, networking, compute, Kubernetes, observability, automation, and cost/billing concepts.
  • Experience building solutions that leverage or focus on cloud infrastructure technologies.
  • Coding experience is a plus for collaborating effectively with engineers and understanding system behavior.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas simply and facilitate alignment.
  • A bias for action and continuous improvement, with an ability to ship, measure, learn, and iterate.
  • Experience with developer tools, infrastructure, and SaaS platforms is a bonus.
  • Experience working directly with a founder or in an early-stage startup is a bonus.
  • Background in analytics, growth, or UX research is a bonus.
