Description

  • Own delivery, iteration, and learning velocity for an assigned PartnerOps component, ensuring frequent, measurable releases.
  • Translate VP-level direction into clear problems, a prioritized backlog, and incrementally shippable scope.
  • Run the product feedback loop (discover → define → build → release → measure → iterate) and ensure insights flow into prioritization.
  • Work embedded with Engineering teams to ensure they build the highest-value next increment with clarity, quality, and pragmatic tradeoffs.
  • Review technical designs, reason about tradeoffs and constraints, and partner on sequencing and delivery planning without being the primary implementer.
  • Engage proactively with partners and internal stakeholders (target ~3–5 partner conversations per week) to validate ideas, refine workflows, and test assumptions.
  • Leverage hands-on experience with cloud partner programs and billing mechanics to prioritize capabilities that improve revenue, operational efficiency, margin visibility, billing accuracy, and scalability.
  • Define success metrics for the component (e.g., partner adoption, onboarding speed, billing accuracy, workflow completion, retention, reliability) and instrument releases to measure outcomes.
  • Own release readiness for the component, including documentation, enablement inputs, and clear communication of what’s new and why it matters.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of direct experience in the cloud ecosystem (cloud operations, FinOps, partner operations, or platform roles).
  • Strong experience with cloud billing systems, cost and usage data, and revenue/financial operations in cloud environments.
  • Deep understanding of the cloud partner ecosystem (resellers, MSPs, SIs, distributors, marketplaces) and partner/channel business models.
  • Experience building or operating platforms that serve channel- or partner-driven business models.
  • Technical fluency in cloud fundamentals and APIs across AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure.
  • Strong product sense for turning messy operational problems into clear scope and shipped value with excellent user experience.
  • Coding experience is a plus to collaborate effectively with engineers and reason about feasibility.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI to accelerate product specifications and development.
  • Excellent communication skills and a bias for action with continuous improvement (ship, measure, learn, iterate).
