Description

  • Collaborate with engineering peers and feature teams through code reviews, mentorship, and shared technical direction.
  • Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform with reusable modules and testing practices.
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on GCP GKE and AWS EKS.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform components using tools such as Argo CD or Atlantis.
  • Diagnose and resolve platform issues related to performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Automate operational tasks such as provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and release workflows.
  • Partner with development teams to understand infrastructure needs and translate them into platform capabilities and roadmaps.
  • Design, code, test, and deploy internal platform tools and APIs that improve self-service and developer productivity.
  • Implement security best practices, including access control, vulnerability management, encryption, audits, and compliance support.
  • Create and contribute to incident response plans and post-mortem analyses.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps engineering, or a related role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with GCP and AWS.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including GKE and EKS.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform.
  • Proven coding proficiency in Go, TypeScript, or another relevant language.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and defensive programming.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo CD, Atlantis, or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments and compliance standards such as SOC 2 and GDPR.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
  • Self-organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Prior experience working specifically on platform engineering projects.
