Description

  • Work with clients to understand requirements, technical challenges, and business context.
  • Design and develop cloud-based solutions and evangelize their value to client teams.
  • Estimate required skills and timelines for projects and convert estimates into clear proposals or Statements of Work (SoWs).
  • Act as the lead technical member of project teams, providing delivery and technical oversight for end-to-end project execution.
  • Keep technical delivery on track, identify blockers, and unblock teams when issues arise.
  • Perform hands-on architecture and implementation work alongside execution tasks.
  • Embed within customer teams to provide strategic guidance, facilitate technology decisions, and co-develop solutions.
  • Mentor and teach client and internal engineers to up-skill organizations in chosen technical domains.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Significant experience with Google Cloud (GCP) or other major public cloud platforms in production settings.
  • Experience designing and implementing cloud-native architectures using modern SRE principles and best practices.
  • Hands-on familiarity with DevSecOps practices and common tooling.
  • Deep expertise in one or more domains such as Software Architecture, Tooling/Pipelines/DevSecOps, Kubernetes, Databases, and/or Networking.
  • Proven ability to produce estimates and convert them into proposals or Statements of Work.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in Cloud, DevSecOps, and Software Development.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing complex engagements end-to-end.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences, including comfort with video-based meetings.
