Description

  • Design, implement, monitor, and secure hybrid cloud and infrastructure environments across Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, and related platforms.
  • Support the annual SOC 2 Type II audit program, including control design, evidence collection, remediation tracking, and auditor coordination.
  • Develop and maintain security monitoring, alerting, dashboards, analytics rules, and automation in Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Investigate security incidents, coordinate containment and recovery, and lead incident response and forensic activities as needed.
  • Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability management, and security assessments across cloud and infrastructure environments.
  • Design and maintain secure Azure and AWS environments using identity, access, and cloud security controls.
  • Maintain hybrid infrastructure including Active Directory, Windows Server, virtualization platforms, network devices, and security appliances.
  • Support cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, disaster recovery, tabletop exercises, and penetration testing.
  • Develop security automation and reporting using PowerShell, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, and SOAR tools.
  • Create and maintain security policies, procedures, playbooks, control documentation, and evidence repositories.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of cybersecurity and infrastructure engineering experience.
  • 3+ years managing Microsoft Azure environments.
  • 2+ years administering Microsoft Sentinel or comparable SIEM platforms.
  • Experience supporting SOC 2 Type II audits.
  • Experience securing AWS cloud environments.
  • Experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and Microsoft 365 security technologies.
  • Required experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender Suite, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Security, AWS Security Services, PowerShell scripting, vulnerability management platforms, incident response procedures, SIEM operations, network security fundamentals, and firewall administration.
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender XDR, Terraform, infrastructure as code, Intune, DLP technologies, security automation and SOAR, and compliance management platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Preferred certifications include SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, AZ-104, AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISSP, CISM, GIAC certifications, or Security+.
