Description

  • Define and own the agency’s organic social strategy across all channels, including setting priorities, standards, and a content calendar aligned to brand, marketing, and business goals.
  • Develop and oversee production of diversified platform-native social content (static images, carousels, short-form video) that supports business goals and talent acquisition.
  • Act as creative lead and hands-on contributor for social video—concepting, directing, filming, and editing content when needed.
  • Partner with internal teams and leaders to capture authentic content, including traveling periodically to conferences, agency events, and leadership summits for on-site production.
  • Establish creative standards and best practices for social content and experiment with new formats and channel opportunities based on platform trends and algorithm shifts.
  • Define and evolve success metrics across awareness, engagement, and brand/business impact, and report on performance to guide decision-making.
  • Set priorities and make tradeoff decisions across social initiatives to ensure focus, quality, and sustainable execution within a lean team.
  • Manage freelance and creator relationships and set strategy for live event coverage, including on-site video, interviews, and production.
  • Build and scale employee advocacy by creating scalable systems, training, and ready-to-share content, and partner with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Marketing to align efforts with recruiting and culture.
  • Partner with senior leaders to elevate executive social presence by providing strategic guidance, content ideation, editing, and posting support tailored to each leader’s voice and goals.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in organic social media, with at least 3+ years in a senior- or director-level role.
  • Proven experience leading organic social strategy for a brand or agency (internal brand experience strongly preferred).
  • Hands-on content creation experience, including social video concepting, directing, and/or editing.
  • Deep expertise in LinkedIn and Instagram, with additional experience across TikTok, Snap, and other video-first platforms and platform-native formats.
  • Experience building or managing employee advocacy and/or executive social programs.
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with a willingness to execute hands-on work.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and comfort partnering with senior leaders to provide clear social guidance.
  • A clear point of view on what great organic social looks like and how to evolve it over time, plus an appetite for provocative content and a sense of humor.
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically for agency events, industry conferences, leadership summits, and on-site content production.
  • This role is remote-eligible in most U.S. states (with some exclusions) and is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Benefits

  • Anticipated annual salary range: $110,000–$130,000, plus an annual performance bonus (target bonus component).
  • Remote-first culture with flexible schedules, work-from-anywhere options, and office hubs in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York for in-person collaboration and learning opportunities.
  • Unlimited PTO and an extended winter holiday break.
  • 100% paid parental leave.
  • 401(k) matching.
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Pet Insurance, plus sponsored life insurance and short-term disability and additional voluntary insurance options.
  • Annual ClassPass credits and other wellness perks.
