Description

  • Lead threat modeling and security review exercises across production and CI/CD environments to identify and mitigate risks in products and supporting cloud services.
  • Drive vulnerability management and remediation efforts by prioritizing issues, implementing mitigations, and designing strategic preventative controls.
  • Extend detection and response capabilities by building scalable solutions to detect malicious activity, triage alerts, and investigate and remediate incidents.
  • Collaborate with software development, DevOps, and operations teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions for Wiz’s products and infrastructure.
  • Utilize Wiz-for-Wiz to assess, monitor, and harden Wiz’s environments and provide feedback to influence the product roadmap.
  • Partner with the Wiz Federal team to extend DevSecOps and Product Security practices to the FedRAMP environment and ensure it meets key security requirements.
  • Build deep functional partnerships with engineering and operations teams to help them implement and operationalize security controls.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations in cloud environments.
  • Experience with AWS platforms and services (equivalent experience in Azure or GCP also considered).
  • Experience with Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and container infrastructure.
  • Experience managing IAM and cloud identities at scale.
  • Experience securing and applying Infrastructure-as-Code solutions (Terraform, Helm).
  • Familiarity with cloud-native observability and management tools.
  • Experience with automation and tooling development in one or more of: Python, Go, Shell, HCL, Rego.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent job experience (preferred).
  • Experience working with remote, globally distributed teams and organizations that develop software or operate managed infrastructure/services (preferred).
  • Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CIEM solutions (preferred).
