Description

  • Advance Wiz’s global privacy, data protection, and AI compliance program with a specific focus on third‑party risk management and AI governance.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for privacy, AI, and data protection matters in vendor relationships and third‑party contracts.
  • Advise and assist procurement and commercial attorneys on negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), security addenda, and AI provisions to protect Wiz’s data and interests.
  • Develop and maintain internal resources and deliver training and guidance to legal, procurement, and business teams to support day‑to‑day work.
  • Provide practical, business‑oriented guidance to internal stakeholders on managing privacy, data protection, and AI‑related risks across vendor engagements and internal initiatives.
  • Identify, assess, mitigate, and track privacy, data protection, and AI‑related risks at the enterprise level and drive programs to strengthen risk management across the company.
  • Contribute to building and maturing Wiz’s AI Governance Program and monitor evolving AI regulations and standards to provide actionable guidance to internal teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with a focus on privacy, data protection, and AI domains.
  • Expertise in US, EU, and UK privacy and data protection laws, with the ability to learn and implement other global laws quickly.
  • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and standards (e.g., EU AI Act, ISO, NIST AI RMF) and security best practices.
  • Proven ability to assess complex situations quickly and provide practical, business‑oriented advice.
  • Proven ability to assess, mitigate, and manage risks related to AI deployment, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience collaborating with legal, compliance, and technical teams to implement Privacy‑Enhancing Technologies (PETs) and ensure responsible AI deployment.
  • Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment with a hands‑on, “go‑getter” approach.
  • Demonstrated capacity to learn new technologies rapidly and translate technical/data risks into practical mitigations.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based; this role does not offer visa sponsorship.
