Description

  • Conduct deep technical research to discover and report novel risks and attack vectors specific to modern cloud- and AI-native architectures and systems.
  • Identify and articulate the highest unaddressed risk areas and prioritize them for product focus.
  • Define foundational product capabilities by delivering compelling proofs of risk (impact demonstrations) and technical POCs (solutions demonstration).
  • Translate research findings into actionable product requirements and work with Product and Engineering to implement mitigations.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure comprehensive risk coverage and to investigate new and complex product scope.
  • Own and drive complex, multi-quarter research projects from initial concept through to delivered impact and clear outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing) to communicate findings and achieve shared goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in security or security research relevant to modern cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, etc.).
  • Strong hands-on scripting experience with languages such as Python or Go for automation and research.
  • Proficiency with query languages such as KQL and SQL for analysis of security telemetry.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and drive complex, multi-quarter research projects to completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing).
  • Specialized knowledge or research experience in AI security, focusing on risks to enterprise-deployed AI (preferred).
  • Experience in public-facing work such as presenting at industry conferences, authoring technical blog posts, or publishing research (preferred).
  • Experience conducting data-driven research and analyzing large-scale security telemetry to derive statistically significant or high-impact findings (preferred).
