Description

  • Conduct deep technical research to identify novel risks and attack vectors in modern cloud- and AI-native architectures and systems.
  • Discover and prioritize the most significant unaddressed risk areas.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to translate research findings into product capabilities.
  • Develop proofs of risk that demonstrate impact and technical proofs of concept that show how to address the issue.
  • Support investigation of complex and emerging product scope to improve risk coverage.
  • Work cross-functionally to communicate research outcomes and drive them to delivered impact.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in security or security research, with relevance to modern cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or Kubernetes.
  • Strong hands-on scripting experience with languages such as Python or Go for automation and research.
  • Experience with query languages such as KQL or SQL for analyzing security telemetry.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and lead complex multi-quarter research projects from concept to impact.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Specialized knowledge or research experience in AI security, especially risks to AI as deployed in the enterprise, is preferred.
  • Experience presenting at industry conferences, authoring technical blog posts, or publishing research is preferred.
  • Experience conducting data-driven research using large-scale security telemetry is preferred.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based without visa sponsorship.
