Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites and custom plugins using best practices.
  • Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable front-end and back-end code to implement site features and functionality.
  • Convert designer mockups into responsive, accessible web pages in collaboration with designers.
  • Optimize website performance, responsiveness, and SEO-related front-end factors across devices.
  • Implement APIs and integrate third‑party services and tools into WordPress sites.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve front-end and back-end issues on client websites.
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers, and clients to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Monitor and apply WordPress core updates, security best practices, and emerging full-stack technologies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of WordPress development experience covering both front-end and back-end functionality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
  • Intermediate level of English, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience with custom theme and plugin development and WordPress APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL/MySQL.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices for web development (nice-to-have).
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and maintainability (nice-to-have).
  • Work schedule: 8 hours per day, Monday–Friday, with at least 7 working hours between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST.
  • Resume must be provided in English.
